Bags, they are pretty much essential for moving around. Even when we are travelling light, we tend to want to pack and go and be able to have our hands free.
Aiguille Alpine founder Adrian Moore has been instrumental in our trips since we started out. We would drop in to see him at the store/factory in Kentmere at the gateway to the Lake District to get inspired about where to run and climb when we are up there. It’s not uncommon for Adrian to tell us to take an obscure side road, park the car by the gate and just run in a straight line up to the summit of the adjacent mountain.
This insider knowledge is the essence of the brand he founded. The bags are for those in the know, they are pretty much indestructible, made by climbers and if not then people who are experts in building bomb proof products. If you are looking for a bag that will go the distance then we cannot recommend Aiguille Alpine enough. Sure we have other bags, but we always have one (make that several) Aiguille products in our kit.
Adrian is straight talking, a proper English mountain man and his brand reflects this. What Adrian doesn’t know about the mountains and the sea probably isn’t worth knowing, he is our go to stop off as we head to the Lake District to get new info on where to run and climb. He has seen it, done it, and most likely made the T shirt. Have a look at what they do @aiguillealpine or www.aiguillealpine.co.uk
