HONG KONG MOVEMENT DIRECTORY

Hong Kong is undeniably a buzzing place. It's often hot, humid and busy, so not always the easiest place to move through. However, we've found a few ways that make us smile every visit.

Here are a few of our favorite spots, with a map below to help you navigate:

VICTORIA HARBOR WATERFRONT

The harbor waterfront (on the Kowloon side) is a great place to get a quick 6-mile run in. If you're brave enough, there's a solid crew of swimmers heading in to the water most mornings! Head out early to avoid the crowds and the heat.

MORRISON HILL

A fun skate spot with some banks, bumps and rails. Smooth surface, and no security here so you can go as long as you like, but can get crowded on weekends.

MINDFUL WING CHUN

A super welcoming Wing Chun group, based right in Central Hong Kong. They study an 'internal' style of Wing Chun, cultivating mindfulness in movement.

TIAN TAN HIKE

Located on Lantau Island in Hong Kong, the Tian Tan Buddha is the central figure of the Po Lin Monastery and the major center of Buddhism in Hong Kong. The hike to the giant Buddha takes about 2.5 to 3.5 hrs and is 6 miles long all on a well-maintained trail (you can take the gondola ride back). The easiest way to get to the trailhead is by subway. Take the MRT subway to the Tung Chung stop.
